Fallout 76 is affected by multiple serious issues, but the game’s most recent patch has actually made things worse.
It took yet another patch to fix many of the old problems that patch 5 reintroduced, and the game will need more balance changes in future updates.

Some of the biggest bugs and flaws in the game have been fixed, to little fanfare. But the truth is that Fallout 76 couldn’t have failed, at least not from Bethesda’s point of view.

Fallout 76 has been getting a lot of improvements to the multiplayer aspect of the world. For starters, there’s a new Survival Mode in Beta now. This mode is full of PVP (Player vs Player), tougher mobs, better loot, and a 20% increase in experience gained.
Is Fallout 76 any good now?
Fallout 76 is a significantly better game than it was at launch last November. But at the end of the day, the answer is still probably no; it’s not the right time to start playing Fallout 76. Overarching issues like a world lacking character and characters will not be solved until the Wastelanders update in the fall.
